Built in Reading, one careful move at a time
Watson Removals started with one lorry and a simple frustration. Too many families were being handed a cheap hourly rate on the phone and a very different bill at the end of the day. We decided to price properly instead. Survey the property, count the work, put the number in writing and stand behind it.
That approach built the business. Today we run our own fleet and employ our crews directly, so the people who arrive at your door are trained by us and answerable to us. Nothing is subcontracted to a stranger with a van.
We live here too. We know which roads in central Reading need a parking suspension, which Caversham terraces will not take a full sized lorry and how long the lift really takes in a Green Park office block. Local knowledge is what keeps a move calm.
